LONDON TO PARIS BIKE RIDE

London to Paris Bike Ride

We have put in place for our amazing London to Paris – Tour de France Edition taking place on the 18th – 22nd July 2018

Call us on 01254 244700 to find out the discount code!

The London to Paris Bike Ride is an awesome cycling challenge and is by far one of the best fundraising events in Europe attracting hundreds of riders each year and raising thousands for charities nationwide. Whether you’re a regular cyclist or new to cycling, looking to participate as part of a group or a solo cyclist – this is the perfect charity cycle event for you.

We’ll spend 4 days in the saddle, cycling 308 miles from capital to capital. Our journey begins in London with the route taking us through glorious English countryside as we cycle from Kent to Dover, before crossing the Channel to Calais. Once across the water we start cycling ‘French style’, remembering to keep to the right!, we push on cycling along quiet French country lanes, through traditional market towns with views of the rolling green hills of northern France, passing the war memorials and cemeteries of the Somme.

A spectacular finish awaits us as we reach the home stretch up the Champs Elysées to the Arc de Triomphe, before reaching the piece de resistance, the Eiffel Tower, which marks our finish line. The days in the saddle may be long but the sense of achievement we’ll feel crossing the finish line and the euphoric atmosphere as we celebrate our achievements in this magnificent capital, the saddle soreness soon wears off!

INCA TRAIL TREK

The Inca Trail is said to be one of the top ten trekking trails in the world and it’s not surprising why! Peru is one of the most fascinating countries in South America, and with its breathtaking landscapes, stunning scenery and mysterious Inca sites, it’s home to one of the most famous footpaths in the world and one of the best treks charity challenge events can offer – The Inca Trail.

Your challenge adventure begins in the Inca Capital of Cusco – a fascinating city, full of colonial charm, hidden deep in the Andes Mountains. Then it’s off to conquer the one and only Inca Trail that leads to Machu Picchu – the world’s most important archaeological find and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World! There are literally thousands of Inca Trails within Peru and many other charity events sound similar, but there’s only one Inca Trail that leads to the majestic Sun Gate, and then onto the fascinating ruins of Machu Picchu – and this is your challenge – to conquer this original Inca Trail.

This classic Inca Trail encompasses 3 high mountain passes – the highest being 4,200m. The trek will be tough, but upon witnessing the sight of Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate, the breathtaking views across the Andes, and experiencing the history and culture of the Incas, the effort is more than worthwhile!

INDIA CYCLE CHALLENGE

Join us on this exciting charity challenge as we ride the tribal trails and royal pathways through India’s colourful “Land of the Kings” – Rajasthan.

Our Indian charity cycle challenge will provide us with an ‘off-the-beaten-track’ adventure, through some of the best hill and desert landscapes that Rajasthan has to offer. We’ll cover a total distance of 400km over 6 consecutive days in the saddle through this fascinating region of India. Experiencing India at it’s best on this charity bike ride, we’ll have opportunities to explore the amazing painted “havelis” (mansions) of Shekawati – a remote area where rich merchants once aimed to outdo each other by painting their homes in ever more exuberant styles. Time has largely stood still since this extravagant heyday, making this a fascinating area in which to hold this charity challenge.
