Gifts In Wills

Leaving a gift in your Will to CANW can make a significant difference to the future of the people we support and the services we can provide.

Your gift ensures your legacy will live on into the future. Without these gifts we simply could not help all of the vulnerable and disadvantaged people we reach every day.

You don’t have to be rich or famous to leave a gift in your Will. For example just £500 could help to support a young person through therapeutic counselling. No matter how big or small every donation is greatly recieved and can make a huge difference.

In Memorium Giving

Making a donation to CANW in memory of a loved one is a special way of celebrating their life.

Donations could be made in lieu of flowers at their funeral, or envelopes can be provided for family and friends to make donations.

Many supporters have set up ‘In Memorium’ Tribute Funds,

putting the ‘fun’ in fundraising

Young people often have the best ideas, they are so creative and imaginative and have bags of energy. Who better than to help come up with ideas for fundraising.

Whether you are an organisation or school, why not get the young people you work with to help the young people we work with. Fundraising and helping those in need is a fantastic quality to have, by teaching young people these giving and caring traits they are learning invaluable ideals to take with them throughout their lives. Organising and running events can also be lots of fun!

Why not set up a Charity/Fundraising Group encouraging your students to generate ideas, plan events and look at promoting them.

Our staff will be on hand to provide practical advice, support and an array of promotional materials to help with your event.

As well as support to help run your event, we also have dedicated staff members who would be happy to give talks and interactive presentations to your young people around the rich heritage of CANW. Trips to the old orphanage building can also be arranged. By helping the young people learn about the people we support and how our organsation has developed can be a real educational experience.

This service can also be delivered as an assembly at the school, and is available to smaller groups, such as Brownie Packs and Scout Groups.
