CANW ANNOUNCED AS THREE FISHES CHARITY OF THE YEAR!
We’re delighted to have been chosen by The Three Fishes restaurant in Mitton as their charity of the year.
The popular restaurant, part of the Northcote Leisure group, will support CANW with three major events over the course of 2016, as well as offering diners the opportunity to make a donation when they pay for their meal.
Martin Hurn, Manager of the Three Fishes said: “We’re so pleased to be supporting CANW. It’s a great local cause which makes a real difference to children and young people in Lancashire, and we hope the events we’ll be staging throughout the year will help to raise awareness of the fantastic work they do.”
Sue Cotton, CEO of CANW said: “We’re thrilled to have been chosen as the Three Fishes’ charity of the year. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to help spread the word about CANW’s work and the Three Fishes’ generosity will make a real difference to the lives of families in Lancashire.”
A ROUND UP OF EVENTS THIS YEAR
Gin lovers were invited to get ‘into the spirit’ at a tasting evening event. The evening was hosted by gin expert Julian Kaye of the Wright Wine Company in Skipton, offering guests the chance to sample a number of different gins, as well as offering an insight into their different characters, flavours and qualities.
‘Flavours of Autumn’ was a fashion event ran by Whalley-based independent ladies’ wear brand, Maureen Cookson. The event, included a prosecco reception followed by fashion show, afternoon tea and silent auction, raised more than £1,000 for the charity.
